Complete Disney Masterpiece Coin Sets Start Price USD 14,000.00 Current Price USD 14,000.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price USD 30,000.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, June 24, 2008 End Time Friday, July 04, 2008 Location Charlotte, NC See more about 'Complete Disney Masterpiece Coin Sets' Description Matched sets of silver one ounce .999 silver coins.  Set one has seven coins based on the first of the fourteen original Disney animated movies, it also has a Leather encased book with the history of each movie and lithograph pictures illustrating the movies.  Set two has the final seven coins representing the last of the fourteen Disney original animated movies.  It also has a leather bound encased book that entails the history of the movies and has lithograph pictures to illustrates the movies.  There were 5,000 original first sets that were sold.  The second sets were not placed in the Disney stores, to have one of the second sets an interest card was in the back of the first book.  This interest card had to be sent in to Disney to have a chance for the second set.  I was contacted by the disney company approxiamately one year after I purchased the first set, at the time I spoke with them they informed me that there were less than 800 people that had sent in the interest card for the second set.  I asked how many second sets would be minted and they informed me that from there dealings there would be less than 500 COMPLETE sets of these.  Disney also informed me that the second sets would have corresponding numbers to the sets that the interest cards were sent in.  Set one is based on the following Disney movies: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs   1937,  Pinocchio  1940,  Fantasia   1940 Dumbo   1941,   Bambi   1942,    Cinderella   1950,    Alice in Wonderland   1951 Set two is based on the following Disney movies: Peter Pan   1953,    Lady and the Tramp   1955,   Sleeping Beauty   1959 101 Dalmations   1961,   The Sword and the Stone   1963, The Jungle Book   1967,   The Aristocats   1970 The Certificate of Authenticity is Signed by Disney Archivist  Dave Smith  Sets number are 1231 of 5000  If any questions are needed email me on Ebay or Call 704-579-8662 This is a very rare item, I wish all well.
